Somehow, the link in my previous posting got broken. If you want to access the pictures directly, you would have to replace the space by a question mark. Anyway, what I forgot to mention: The book "Sternwheelers and Steam Tugs" also contains the detailed drawing of a river incline apron as described by Tom.
