My brother served on an LST in the Pacific during WWII. Last summer we visited the LST which is being restored at Muskegon, MI and it was his first time onboard one since 1945. He told me the crews jokingly referred to them as "Large Slow Targets". I have looked through ship model catalogs without luck. Anyone know where I could find a kit or detailed plans? I could use pictures but would like to make it as true to scale and accurate as to details as possible.
