Hi: I am considering doing a model of one of the Detroit River railroad car ferries, in 1:8 scale. Realizing there is a small difference between 1:8 and HO scale, have any other modelers had good luck using the commonly available HO scale railroad cars, on a model of this size ? Since the difference in real life would be less than a foot, does it look close enough or would one rescale the vessel plans to HO? Any recommendation and or experences appreciated.... Regards, Keith
