I looking for advice about how to make a sun visor for a pilot house 1/96 scale. I had problems getting the curve and the angle right using flat styrene sheet. How do you lay it out on the flat sheet so it fits right when you cut it? I can get it to fit flat wrapped around the pilot house but when I go to tilt it down at an angle it won't fit properly. After several attempts I finally made a wooden mold shaped like the pilothouse and heated the styrene and pulled it over the mold. It worked OK, but there's got to be a better, easier way?
