I have been buikding a model of the Red Baron Lobster boat which is still a working lobster boat in Maine. I am having trouble with the painting. I sanded and primed the boat very well, but the pait supplied with the kit is not going on the model very well. There are brush strokes when I paint and some of the colors especially the white takes many coats to cover the grey primer. I am discouraged to have put all this work into the boat only to have the painting go poorly. Any advise would be wonderful. The kit is a really nice one from Blue Jacket kits in Maine. Thanks, Ken Taylor PS maybe I need to thin the paint?
